Earlier this week we received confirmation that The Shepherds Arms can legally be demolished at any time despite the local press running an article with the headline 'Historic pub is saved'. This article was wrong - the Sheps is far from saved. Plans have been scrapped to build a library where the Sheps stands now but the building can still be demolished. Action is stepping up to raise awareness of what is potentially Cwmaman's 'Cultural Treasure' in the hope that those attempting to tear down the Sheps, think again and look at the potential of the building and how it could be revived for a future generations.

Check out the pictures from the launch of a giant paper sculpture based on the Shepherds Arms and Cosmology. The theory behind the art is very interesting and complicated. Coming soon is a weblink to the full explanation which draws on Greek mythology and Saturn's rings to support the concept.
